Welcome to the South Tyneside Group

PLEASE NOTE: NO MEETINGS ARE BEING HELD DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC.

IF YOU NEED ADVICE, OR JUST A CHAT, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO RING, EMAIL, OR TEXT.

It is our aim to provide help, friendship and support to people living with diabetes in South Tyneside, We hold regular monthly meetings in the resident's lounge at Saviile Lodge, off Anderson St, near the old library in South Shields town centre [see map], with a mix of fun events and guest speakers.

We aim to provide individuals with a safe, social forum to discuss diabetes and its effects.

When and where we can, we also try to raise money to promote awareness of diabetes and generally contribute in any way we can.

Whether you have been diagnosed yourself or if you are simply an individual with a desire for knowledge and an inclination to take part, we welcome you to our group.
