It is with great sadness we report that our former Chairman, Ian Leonard, passed away on Saturday 25 February at Sunderland Royal Infirmary. While receiving dialysis on Friday, Ian suffered a major stroke and did not recover consciousness. Fortunately, he lived long enough for his family to be with him for his final moments.

The requiem will be held at the Church of the Holy Name, Jesmond, at 10AM on Tuesday 15 March, followed by cremation at Newcastle Crematorium

A collection at the funeral mass raised £351.70 for branch funds. Many thanks to Ian's family for thinking of us at a time of great sorrow.
